Install LAMP Apache, PHP and MySQL and phpmyadmin....

This is based on Armbian 5.38.

Log into your Banana Pi/Pro

  1. $ sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt-get upgrade -y
  2. $ sudo apt-get install -y apache2 apache2-utils
  3. $ sudo groupadd -f -g33 www-data
  4. $ sudo chown tony:www-data /var/www
  5. $ sudo chmod 775 /var/www
  6. $ sudo apt-get install -y php5 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-common mysql-client
  7. $ sudo apt-get install -y php-pear php5-mysql php5-curl php5-gd php5-idn php5-imagick php5-imap php5-mcrypt php5-memcache php5-mhash php5-pspell php5-recode php5-snmp php5-sqlite php5-tidy php5-xmlrpc php5-xsl php5-json
  8. $ sudo apt-get install -y mysql-server - (you will be asked for a root login password for MySQL)

 If you wish to install phpmyadmin

  $ sudo apt-get install -y phpmyadmin

at the step where you are asked "Apache2 or lighttpd" press 'Space bar' in 
apache 2 and an * will show it's selected.
Press tab to OK and then press enter....

  root paswd = yourpassword

(Test webserver by typing the BP's IP address in your PC's browser bar)
(web page is in /var/www/index.html )

then change directory to /var/www
   $  CD /var/www 
and change index.html to index.php
  $  sudo mv index.html index.php

check on browserby typing in IP address/phpmyadmin - e.g. ( i.e your-IP-address/phpmyadmin)
login as root - yourpassword
